Double Sided Number Plate Foam Tape

Morning all

 

Can anyone recommend some decent double sided number plate foam tape?

 

I bought some from halfords and it delaminated, useless!!! Then bought some off eBay and had the same problem.

Steve wish I could help you had the same problem a couple of times had to revert back to screws.

To be fair the Halfords stuff I've never had a problem with.

 

Not sure if this link will work, but I've purchased a number of double sided tapes and sticky blobs from them. They're stuff is very good.

we use the bestplate numberplate tabs never had any problems with them in about 10 years

I've used the 'No More Nails' brand tape on previous cars without any problems, haven’t used any on the Zed but I would imagine it would work, picked it up from Homebase

I stuck a piece of the Halfords stuff on each side of the numberplate, not sticking any more! Think it's lasted 6 months and 1 side is off completely with the opposite side looking dubious. Will have to restick it this weekend, think the heat recently has softened it up and with the stiffness of the numberplate it's pulled itself off the bumper.

I got mine from Maplins, it's been fine for a couple of years....

Need some new plates as mine are looking a bit worse for wear too.
