99% of people ive heard using aftermarket stuff have had major issues. Best to stick to oem with molyslip additive. Pm Zmanalex as he has it all in stock at a fraction of the dealer cost

I bought Nissan genuine gear oil from Alex and added moly, makes a whole world of difference

I concur! Still a bit notchy but feels a lot better!

I have to say that changing to second is fine when cold, but i did find that 2nd doesn't appear to 'feel' straight back from 1st.

To better explain it, if i pull back to 2nd in what feels like a straight line then it will try and clunk/refuse to go in correctly, but if i pull if back to what feels like half way between 1st and 3rd, then it slips straight in, no problems.

Really? I'm using Redline MT-85 and no issues here. Maye placebo as it was after a service but a smoother shift.

I thought the redline was supposed to give a smoother shift but it has some substance in it that also produces wear inside the box and has been said to contribute to premature failure.

You might be referring to GL5 gear oils, they contain additives that cause premature wear in yellow metal gears.

Also, what's this molyslip additive, has anyone noted any difference when adding to Nissan oil?

Genuine Nissan oil + molyslip is about the best you can get  You never get rid of the notchyness when cold but once it's warmed up it is smooth as silk :#1:
