Buying tyres off the internet

Bought my last set of the net and the only problem that I had with getting someone to fit them was I wanted it doing the same day!

Went round ATS, Kwik Fit, National and a couple of smaller local fitters and nobody said no but were busy so couldn't do it there & then.

Yep. I went to a tyre place to get a quote for some rears. £189 per tyre for 040's :scare: . Anyway I said that I could get them off the net for cheaper and he said that they would not fit any tyres that were on EU compliant, part worn or repaired. I suppose cos the come back would be on them if you have a blow out or something :surrender:

Bought my last set from Blackcircles.com - competitive price and fitted at a local fitter of my choice from their list, at a pre-booked time of my choosing. Probably works out at around £7-£10 per tyre to fit, balance etc. I notice a few online suppliers now do the same thing.
