M13KYF Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 yep, subwoofer and amp for starters, Some members dont rate them but for me have think its fine but I no car audio purist. Quote
Ekona Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 I agree, it's fine unless you want to hook up an iPod or similar, that's the only reason I changed mine. If you're sticking with CDs and the radio then the Bose is pretty good. Quote
MidnightRacer Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Bose has tweeters in the doors. (my import) Non Bose does not. I presume the UK ones will be the same. as for quality, my non bose aftermarket headunit system sounds just as good to me as my brothers (occasionally skipping) Bose setup. but then I'm not a Bass head! un1eash Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 If your looking at UK cars then get one with Bose as it'll also have heated leather seats and cruise making it a GT spec and easier to sell on later. Quote
ATTAK Z Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 All UK cars have a Bose ... but the GT has an upgraded Bose ... both have problems but are OK providing you are not a connoisseur ... the problems can be fixed by R35LEE Quote
Dom187 Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 I have had both a UK GT and a UK non GT, in all honestly I prefered the non UK GT. To me the uprated bose setup sounded abit tinny as the sub didnt get going until higher volumes, might just be me. I found the normal system to be better balanced. Also with the uprated bose you get a sub kicking you in the back, some people like it some dont. Obviouly non GT's are harder to sell at a later date so bear that in mind, I think the general rule of thumb I have seen is that non GT's are 1k less. Quote
