jumping350 Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 Hi all well in the middle of my simulator build and need my cobra out of my honda..however have misplaced my key and the spares at my mates house who is on holiday till end of jan!!! I do have the red key however ive heard bad things about using this key!! im not sticking it in the ignition i dont need to (as everyone says not to as it resets all keys and your old ones will be useless) does anyone know if i could open the boot with it and crawl through and open door etc would it do the same thing and reset my ecu/immobiliser/key??? oh and theres no battery in it so no electric current going anywhere either Anyone whos had this experience please advice Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
geoff-r Posted December 22, 2011 Share Posted December 22, 2011 As far as I know mate you can use it on the doors but not the ignition as it resets the ECU/Immobiliser.
