Mack Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Hello, this is my first post on here. Ive just brought a 04 350z with the GT pack. Ive seen kits to connect an ipod directly into the head unit. http://www.incarmusic.co.uk/product/334 ... rforNissan The only number on the front of my head unit is CR330 printed on the tape player cover. Can anyone tell me it it has the correct plugs at the back without removing the stereo to check? Thanks Mack Quote
Lexx Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Better option here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=47176 (if its the OEM HU you have fitted). Put a post up in the welcome section too Quote
Ekona Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Can anyone tell me it it has the correct plugs at the back without removing the stereo to check? Thanks Mack It doesn't unless it's a US car. I found out the expensive way Quote
Mack Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 Lexx, Thanks, ill take a look. Ekona, Youve saved me £80 then. Strangely its advertised on a UK website. Quote
Lexx Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 If you put your location in your profile, there may be members local to you who would be willing to help you (or even do it for you) Quote
spursmaddave Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Take the £80 and put a bit more with it for a new HU you won't regret it Quote
Mack Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 Intresting option. Any recomendations? something that blends in with the rest of the car? Quote
spursmaddave Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Most double dins look ok, a fascia plate is needed because of the curve of the dash. If you are not bothered about nav then just go for a decent brand, Apline, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood. You can get units from under £300 to mucho wonga Have a look in the I.C.E. section for some ideas Quote
