Haven't got onkine with the game yet, as stuck out in the styx, with no internet other than my phone. Do have the xbox here however, and have dinged level 27 with a decent sized garage. Nice that you can import your old Forza 3 profile so you dont have to start at the bottom. I do find the affinity thing odd in that you can get all mods for free pretty quick, and once you've done it with say your 350z/370z as its with the manufacturer, you can then have all parts for say a GTR for free.
