Karlp Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 After a few weeks cleaning the zed a small cloudy spot has appeared on my passenger headlight and seems to be getting bigger! I thought it could be a leak inside but the outside of the headlight feels quite rough where the clouding is I've tried T Cut and AG SRP but to no avail, anybody any ideas what it could be or how to remedy it? DoogyRev Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Megs Metal Polish and a set or sore fingers will sort you out Quote
Karlp Posted September 17, 2011 Author Posted September 17, 2011 Will brasso be any good matey? Quote
DoogyRev Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Nope i think brasso will be too abrasive....if you ave a search you will find a post that glrnet did, he tested a few different polishes and Megs was the best on head lights. Its not very expensive... well worth a purchase from Halfrauds Quote
DoogyRev Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Please forgive the sarcasm...... its been a long afternoon Quote

SteveW Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I can recommend the Megs metal polish works a treat, half did mine the other day Quote
DaddyCee Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 sorry to resurrect this thread. I tried Megs Metal Polish on my headlights yesterday as I have a similar issue on both drivers and passengers but the polish didn't seem to make an difference. Do it take a long time to do this and is it a case of just perserverance? Quote
spursmaddave Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Depends how bad it is.... if it is REALLY bad I would suggest some fine grade wet & dry and some rubbing compound to get the worst off Quote
