use the central jacking point at the rear, it's on the diff. Then pop some axle stands under the sides :)

The sides were my concern, thin flimsy looking stuff, no? Where the stock 350 jack is meant to sit?

Never had a problem with them myself, my axle stands are shaped to fit that contour though.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow hopefully, show ya'll what I'm dealing with :teeth:

Appreciate the reply though bro.

Jack it up using the Garage Jacking points as shown on the diagram above, if you can't reach them with your Jack drive onto some bricks or wood first.

If your gonna put the axle stands on the 'safety stand' points (where the scissor jack goes) don't put them directly onto the soft sill seam that you are speaking of because it will bend ! You need to put something on the seam to protect it that is the same shape as the top of the scissor jack ie. something with a groove in it. I use blocks of wood with a groove cut in them and put the Axle stand on them. If you could get a hard rubber or plastic block that would be ideal. My mate used a hockey puck and that works great too. :)

Take an ice hockey puck (off ebay) and cut a groove in it

Dont put a flat jack platform against the seams, it has to be supported either side like the standard jack shape :surrender::headhurt:
