Hi!

I bought a cassette adapter to use with my Bose stereo but it doesn't seem to work! When I put the tape in it just flips between sides. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I've tried 2 different adapters now and both have the same problem.

I'm new to the zed and don't fancy trying the iPod hack just yet!

Cheers

Ok so the tape adapter no longer swaps between sides, however, I still get no sound - just static! Is it likely the tape deck is knackered? Looks like I'm going to have to attempt the hack after all....

I would suggest maybe using a 3.5mm jack unless you specifically want to charge it, as it gives more flexibility and is future-proof. Either way it works perfectly and sounds awsome!

I bought a cassette adapter, works absolutely fine, just one tip, dont crank the volume up on your iPod beyond 50%, it has a tendancy to try and blow the speakers up in the Z :scare:

Pretty much every MP3 I've got was well over reasonable volume when I got it, and they were all completely random volumes which gets really annoying if you turn shuffle on... I'd suggest MP3Gain to level them all out and to make them a normal volume.
