cmck13 Posted June 8, 2011 Share Posted June 8, 2011 Do you want an independent dealer or a Z dealer, I have used both and had no isssues with either I had a scorpion fitted by a local exhaust dealer and servicing through Crystals at Lincoln, both were good with no problems. Cheers I'm after the exhaust fitting but am up in Lincoln fairly often so it would be good to know if there's a garage in the area who has some Zed knowledge generally. I have a good local Lincoln garage that I have used for other cars but they may not be up to speed with the nuances of some Zed bits..... I tend to use specialist independents where possible but do price main dealers to keep 'em honest.... All recommendations appreciated!!!!! What I was after is that if you are supplying your own exhaust, speak to the manager at Mr Tyres on outer circle drive, they will not be happy with the fit until it is perfect. No issues in taking it back until its right. If you have remaps on the car you will always have isssues in having a remap and thats with RS at leeds unless you go down south to horsham or abbey. Crystals the main dealer are surprisingly good but of course charge more but having said that I got a P3 for £204 supplying my own fluids. I even got to speak to the mechanic befor the service about my mods and what I wanted. They were quite comfortable with this and I was impressed with the service. Lincolnbaggie Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Any reasonable independent should be able to fit an exhaust with no prior knowledge of a Zed (place I got mine done actually asked me what car it was as he hadn't seen one before). I wouldn't use a main dealer for an exhaust fitting, so try cmck13's recommendation (Agree that Crystals Nissan are excellent for servicing and more specialised Zed work though, even gave me a free diagnostic scan when my CEL light came on once).
