Scratch removal... Grumpy

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys and Gals,

After a seriously grumpy Friday morning, when my girlfriend reversed into the rear quarter of my Zed. It hasnt gone down to the plastic on the rear bumper, just lots of that nasty white scratching. The wheel has also ahd a lot paint taken of it....

Does anyone know of a practical repair solution in the Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire area?

Thanks

Al

Still a bit hard to see in that pic, but if you give the Z a good wash and dry, then I'd gently have a go at the area with a pre-wax cleaner, should remove some of the scuffing, then swirl remover, then wax. Obviously adhering to the manufacturers specifications of the products you are using, and using good quality applicators and microfibre cloths to remove between processes. That may help a bit. As I say, hard to really see in your pics. Otherwise take to a professional paint/scuff repairer.
