MOT due

My zed is due an MOT. Not going to dealer this time just to a local place. I seem to remember something about an issue with testing the brakes on a rolling road thing.....is there anything I should be wary of when going to a smallish countryside MOT station? Thanks.

Yep, if you have LSD, it's a no to the rolling road. They should do a road test with a deceleromiter (think that's what it's called ) on the floor of the pasenger foot well.

Also the computer should tell them this to.But not always the case.

if you check out halfords auto cnetres they are doing half price MOT's at the moment,

 

make sure washer fluids and other fluids are correct. and lights are working before you go.

I have often wondered why it is a problem, surley it is no different to coasting in neutral.

Can any one enlighten me?

Just wondering because I was thinking of having my rear Discs skimmed on the car with an on car brake lathe. Is this ok or will it result in damage.
