lime prime - machine or hand applied?

giving the car a jolly good clean tomorrow - once clayed is it best to use machine to apply lime prime or just by hand?

I've done both.

 

It works quite well by machine though on a decent softish pad.

You'll get maybe slightly better results with machine as I believe it'll break down the compounds in lime prime better. Think I've even seen light correction from it being applied by machine.

As above, whatever you're most comfortable with. With machine it will give it a bit more bite, especially if you use anything other than a light polish/finishing pad.

Either way is good.

I prefer machine as you can get the job done quicker
