CF Rear Strut Cover

Cheers guys :D

It fits on top of the silver one, with double-sided sticky tape. You have to dismantle the plastic bits in order to fit it.

Almost a perfect fit, could have done with being about 2mm wider at the left hand side.

Dirty plastic - yeah :blush: , too many dirty walking boots

Val,

It was $AU 165, plus $AU 38 shipping - £85, then got £14 import charges and £4 Royal Mail "handling fee", so £103 all in

I'm not a massive CF fan but that looks B) , Gus. Considering how easy it is to scratch the standard one this could be quite a good find.

Yes, if you manage to put stuff UNDER the strut. Putting stuff over the strut is just crazy :scare:

If you have a Stuart B tonneau ( ) then over is the only way to go and very carefully at that.

And what would you carry in your car that requires going over the strut brace? I mean, there are no heaps of space between the brace and the window.

Is that a serious question?:wacko::wacko:

Easy, my rear tyre that I had removed at the weekend, doesn't fit in the boot, had to lift it over the strut brace. How else would you get a golf bag in there too........??

I'm guessing ir_fuel means carrying stuff in the boot, over the strut brace, with the hatch shut, not passing stuff over it with the hatch open ;)

Why would anyone do that? I'm not sure you could. My original comment was about how easy it is to scratch when lifting over it. He's an obscure fella that ir_fuel! :headhurt:
