ewan221 Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 After washing car yesterday got fed up with stone chips, phoned a few of the smart repair people who said all they can do is touch in the chips to improve how it looks, not really what I want so thinking aboout either a front end respray including bonnet or maybe a wrap ???? Looking for rough costs and any recommendations where to go, the local body shop want £150 + Vat a panel (showing ignorance but what counts a s a panel ???) and thought that was a bit expensive. From A to Zed Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 The prices tend to vary a lot depending on where you live and metallic paint is more expensive than a flat finish. I am currently in the same boat and I have recently received three quotes to paint both wings, the bumper and bonnet in kuro black. Quote one; 1,100 + VAT (from a large body shop who deal mostly with insurance work). Quote two; 860 + VAT (a local Lotus specialist who are well respected).
