P2 Service in the Northampton area

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Have tried using the search but couldn't find anything I'm afraid...

My 05 350 needs a P2 service in the next month or so. It's only had dealer services so far, but as I plan on keeping it for a while, and it's 6 years old now, I don't really think it's too important to keep that going.

Are there any independents in the Northampton/Milton Keynes area people would recommend please?

And also, what is a decent price to be paying for the P2 service please?

Thanks,

Steve

Good to see you decided to keep it, now OK with the seat comfort?

Yes thanks Malcolm. Not sure how it happened, but have really got used to the seats, feels fine now - thankfully!

How are you getting on with your new 370?

Has anyone been able to find someone a bit closer to Northampton or can recommend someone locally? Anyone to avoid?

I generally get all my work done at MR Tuning, based just outside Towcester, Great guy,he used to work at RB with me. PM me if you want his number.

Also had some work done at Horsham Developments, its only 40 minutes from Brackley. They are great guys too.

I had my recent P3 service done at Advanced Motorsport & Engineering near Silverstone. They normally do bigger jobs but seemed happy to service my car. I'd take my car back there again.

I know other forum members have used them before as well and have been happy with the service, in fact I spotted Neilp's car whilst I was there.

Only extra part needed in P2 over P1 is the air filter.

The other 'extras' are just more items to check;

Driveshafts

Air conditioning hoses

Coolant / antifreeze strength

Fuel and vapour lines

Oxygen sensors

Brake servo hose

Exhaust emissions

I've just been reading my service book preparing myself for the biggy - P3.

Only had my Z for ten days but I can't wait to get my spanners on it! :)
