Boycey Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 The Zed has been sitting in my drive for the past 2 weeks due to the snow. I went to start her up today but the alarm keeps going off, I can unlock and lock the doors no problem, it is only when I open one of them that this happens, I can also start the engine just fine, radio turns on, lights etc so its not the battery, plus its an 08 car. Just before the snow hit I did have my gearbox changed under warranty but I was able to drive it home from Nissan with no issues at all, I need help, the snow has melted and I want that smile that all zed drivers have back Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Boycey Posted December 27, 2010 Author Share Posted December 27, 2010 It had just come back from Nissan for a new gearbox but I drove it home from Nissan. I've spoken to Ross at Japex, he reckons it could be the battery in the siren, low temps and not started for 2 weeks could be it, he recommended I go for a drive or leave the engine running for about 30 Min or so, will try it and report back, doubt I'll drive it, most likely the siren would bug the hell out of me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
