windows not dropping on drivers side

Hi Guys / Gals,

 

I think my drivers side window motor / mechanism is frozen up. It doesn't want to move until the car warms up (about 20mins) and even then it is slow and has a mind of its own if the switch is pressed. Does anyone else have this problem?

sounds like the points need cleaning. DIY job with a guide on here somewhere.

I will try this weekend after next. Fortunately the window is stuck in the down position after the door unlocked, so the window is sealing against the rubber strip.
