350zblack Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 i recently bought an ebay special stubby ariel for my zed, its fits and looks fine but the reception is poor compared to the standard fishing line. only after i purchased it did i notice the posts about the o.e.m s2000 stubby, ive now had a look for one of these s2000 versions but with no luck, anyone point me in the right direction? thanks Quote

dyla350z Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Some of them have a metal backing plate, undo it so its still on but lose then check the reception,if its better you can re-fit it with a small rubber o ring preventing the metal of the stubby touching the body. Quote
