chippy Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Think I'll be getting one of these bad boys http://www.rhdjapan.com/fujimura-auto-rocket-dancer-aero-carbon-rear-under-diffuser-fin-z34-fairlady-z-60056 Quote
clarkie34 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I like that. Somehow makes the rear look a lot better, doesn't look to have a fat ass. Quote
captain Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 much improved look +1 The rear of the 370 is absolutely shocking when colour-coded but by "defining" it with a black diffuser and spolier it pinches the lines and looks 100% better. Quote
Ebized Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Or you can go the carbon wrap route for about a third the price, when take into account the shipping and tax Oh, and one of the front for completeness, with a close up of the finish Contact KJ on here (rgva vehicle branding) who are based in Kent and did the wrapping. That looks great and a real improvement. Have you considered wrapping the lip spoiler? Quote
Ebized Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Yes and the answer is no. I prefer the more subtle changes and where I thought they were needed. Or course the wrap does not work so well on dark colours but at the time the choice for me was, without question, Storm White. Quote
Kev T Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 That is a really neat job and If it not a rude question, how much did the front and rear wrap cost ? Quote
Ebized Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 That is a really neat job and If it not a rude question, how much did the front and rear wrap cost ? My 370 was the first rgva did - snow on the ground and took two guys around 2.5 hours each - one working on the front one working on the back. Price reflected the 'trial' application (which I am very, very pleased with) - so is possibly not representative of follow up jobs. I should add that when I said the price I was charged was about a third of the single item the OP has mentioned, that was both the front and back wrapping. Therefore suggest you pm KJ. for a price. Will370z Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Have to agree it makes a real difference to the look of the 370, definitely worth it. Seeing it In the flesh colins GUNS looks absolutely great with those wraps. Will be the first thing I do when I eventually get one. Quote
chippy Posted September 5, 2010 Author Posted September 5, 2010 The wrapping looks superb, the only problem I have is that I'm in Jersey, so unless I bring the car to the UK it'll probably be a non-starter. Really like the Stillen exhuast too. Any plans to add the Gen 3 intakes as well? Quote
