Jay Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hey guys and gals, was wondering if anyone knew where to get one of these front splitters in the uk? I have seen them on american ebay, but cant be bothered with the hassle of importing etc. Thanks in advance Quote
clarkie34 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I'm sure Greekman has them on his and I think Sarah supplied him. Quote
M13KYF Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 is it not part of the bumper with the same one posted in both pics? Quote
clarkie34 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 No Mike I think it's an option on the Amuse front. Quote
clarkie34 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Not sure it would suit a Nismo front though. Quote
Jay Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Thats what I was unsure of. I just feel my front bumper needs a little somethin somethin lol I know its a v2.... but I think it would work with the v1 aswell. Quote
Neilp Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 can anyone throw a photoshop up of these on a nismo front end as i may also be interested in something similar... Quote
Jay Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 can anyone throw a photoshop up of these on a nismo front end as i may also be interested in something similar... Bolt ya rocket..... before I launch ya Quote
clarkie34 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Always keep ideas to yourself until you have done them. Quote
Neilp Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 lmao should have kept this one quiet mate, you're starting a craze... i was looking at the carbon fins for the front end originally but i dont know what to do.... the cars of the road after the show on the 22nd and getting stripped for the winter. time to start getting it ready for next year. Steady Zeddy Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I have them on my Amuse but as you say Jay - the big issue is the import cost which is most of the price of the splitter. Good opportunity here for Chilli Red or similar to import a batch and sell them on here minus the ridiculous shipping cost. I'd be up for a couple of spares - they do sit quite low esp when you're on coilovers with the Amuse. I think they'd look well on either Nismo V1 or V2. Quote
Chilli Red Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Just send Jay a pm pn these. I have to agree imports are a pain and tend to work out so expensive. If you want a group buy I will look into it, but it's just too expensive to pull in one or two. Sarah Quote
Neilp Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 nope as jay isnt letting anyone else steal his ideas Quote
mattbowey Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE was just kidding. i would change the bumper first, whats yours jay? Quote
Neilp Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 lmao dont worry jay i wont get them as im not as rich as u! im gonna look into widening the nismo v1 again over the winter... painter said it will never look right once done though might. might buy a replica kit to try it with first... Quote
Jay Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Richer than me hahaa ur kidding........... your minted ............. ohhh wide arch.... i like the sound of that Quote
Neilp Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 you can help me out with it during the dark winter nights lol im gonna try and spend a bit on it over the winter and get it show ready for next year... not gonna take it to the track again dont like my newly aquired fly chips on my bumper Quote
