Bluetooth cradle help.

Hi all

 

I bought a Bluetooth adapter off pimm and thought it wasn't working but after trying it in Roos car the addapter is working just fine. So it's the cradle that's f**ked. Anyone know what could be wrong with it or were to buy another one?

might not be the cradle but the base unit which is situated under the glove box behind the passenger seat. I would check the fuses for a first thing to test

Is the base unit the box that's stuck to the underside of the glove box tray ?

Right found that lol, I've already got some of the centre console off cos thought it would be behind the stereo. I'll see if the fuse has gone now lol.

there maybe a fuse for it in the footwell compartment fuse box

Ok I'm being a dum ass now but were is the fusebox in the passenger foot well?, I've never taken the centre consoule off a car but thought I'd give it a go as I'm not bad with a socet set lol. And do need to take the stereo out for the Bluetooth or am I wasting my time.

Yes..right next to the accelerator pedal..few clips that holds the cover in place

Well so far I've only managed to get under the Bluetooth cradle and under the glovebox everything is connected, but it's been raining on and off so gave up for today. I want to check the fuses before going behind the stereo. Dose anyone know witch fuse it is for the cradle ?
