Pretty random but guitarist ted turner was round my house ealier and is now playing golf with my dad and brother.....Didn't know much about him but a quick google search revealed that he has played with the beatles and was voted top 20 guitarist of all time by rolling stone

reminds me of the time i met stephen hendry i was working in an electrical shop at the time, i thought nahhh cant be him so dismissed it and carried on like normal. Offered him £10 product support for a fiver, he paused to think about it, what a tight git hes a millionaire. only realised after it was him

My dad is golf friends with Richard Turner to whom ted is his nephew....strange world !

Twiddly-diddly-dee for the next 20 minutes.

 

Saw them in '79 or '80 at The Taunton Odeon. One of the first four bands I saw along with Iron Maiden, Dr Feelgood and The Buzzcocks.

 

Then I saw the light by seeing the mighty Queen live in 1980 and went on to see them 6 or 7 times over the next 6 years.

 

Everyone's a bit crap after you've watched them live..........................
