Has anyone been on one in the UK? I'm thinking of buying one as a gift basically. Is it worth it? It does look quite amazing. Opinions please, and no I'm not scared of heights that much :p

Yes well worth it, if you book with these guys - http://cameronflights.co.uk/ - you might get my mate Kerry flying you  I've crewed for loads of balloon flights and been in a few as a passenger, its a great experience, so long as you get a nice day for it. Be warned, it usually takes about 5+ attempts at going for a flight to actually get one in the UK, the weather can be a bit crap ;)

Good advice - don't do what I did and book it in the Lakes which would be beautiful if we had ever made it up but almost impossible to get a suitable day. Gave it up as a bad do in the end!

Guess what Digsy,, my mate does balloon rides in the Lakes, you should have asked.

I think I bought it before I'd met you - I spent 3 years trying to go on it! :surrender:
