Vehicle Inspections

Any of you guys used RAC, AA, etc vehicle inspection? As potentially I may use one, as good value 350z's in Cornwall are like rocking horse @*!#. So would be looking at cars in other parts of the country.

I like this one, though the claims about the level of damage and the resulting write-off don't ring true. Would the insurer write off a £10k+ car for the panal damage shown?.....seems too good to be true.

Id do an HPI check, get a member too look at it and if all turns out ok then go for it?

You can HPI using the text check function on your moby phone. Just send the reg number to 83600 and it cost £3.50 from what I remember

 

As for inspection. A forum member is a very good bet as they know the more intricate details and faults to look out for!

 

I am a testamont to using forum members to inspect a car for me which saved a wasted journey into Scotland!

I used an RAC inspection when buying my car. DEFINATELY worth the money, even though I didn't listen to him!
