I seem to be bent, is this normal?

I have been trying to trace a rattle in my dash for a while now. I have spotted a bow in the plastic where the dash meets the window. If i push down on this there is some give and the rattle stops.

 

Is this bow normal on the 350?

maybe a broken clip, i think my one has been doing this too

Not sure where you mean? Is there not a faom strip between glass and dash - if not the windscreen has probably been replaced at some time maybe? (I only know as this happend to my Pathfinder!)

 

Re: rattles - all the cables are very well tied up - see my thread in interior on removing radio and centre console - you will see some pics from behind the plastic? Hope this helps?

Common rattle in the Zed between the window and the dash. I have a permenant bit of foam on both sides of mine

Bit of felt supplied by "The Management" inserted between the top of the dash and the windscreen sorted mine...

Tried a hammer?

 

I use some draft excluder tape you can get from B&Q or similar, does the trick as well.

Thanks guys. I am pretty sure i can fix this by inserting the correct technical component (Read: bit of rubber).

 

Will give it a try tomorrow.
