nicon2k Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I have been trying to trace a rattle in my dash for a while now. I have spotted a bow in the plastic where the dash meets the window. If i push down on this there is some give and the rattle stops. Is this bow normal on the 350? I have attached a picture to show what i mean. Thanks. Quote
Harman350z Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 maybe a broken clip, i think my one has been doing this too Quote
stanski Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Not sure where you mean? Is there not a faom strip between glass and dash - if not the windscreen has probably been replaced at some time maybe? (I only know as this happend to my Pathfinder!) Re: rattles - all the cables are very well tied up - see my thread in interior on removing radio and centre console - you will see some pics from behind the plastic? Hope this helps? Quote
Chris`I Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Common rattle in the Zed between the window and the dash. I have a permenant bit of foam on both sides of mine Quote
pathfinder123 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Bit of felt supplied by "The Management" inserted between the top of the dash and the windscreen sorted mine... S. Quote
H5 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Tried a hammer? I use some draft excluder tape you can get from B&Q or similar, does the trick as well. Quote
mc Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 is that where its coming from?! aaargh I hate that noise! will investigate later Quote
nicon2k Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 Thanks guys. I am pretty sure i can fix this by inserting the correct technical component (Read: bit of rubber). Will give it a try tomorrow. Quote
