givememorepower Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 The Z has gone, so I shall be listing my spares on here shortly. What I wonder is: is the inner boot cover that fastens to the lid itself and obstructs view into the rear when the boot lid is shut, a standard part, and would this be of any interest to anyone? Eg. JDM? Cheers Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Its an extra on the JDM's but standard on the UK cars. I know kwame from Z1 (works with Adam) was desperate for one as they dont have them in the US. Quote
givememorepower Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 Think he means the bit at the top. Yep that's it. Cheers for the answers, I'll be putting it up for sale then. Any idea's on what the stealers charge at all? Quote
Chris`I Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 As Mark said, standard on UK models, but optional on JDM Quote
AlexZ Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 You may have to be careful if buying for the JDM because there tailgate trims dont always have the location hole required to fix the trim your selling into..Guess you could drill them if required but I wouldnt dare lol.. Alex Quote
alessandro Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Might be interested if fitting it's ok. Any pics with the boot close? Quote
bounty78 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 It's standard on UK models. U can't see it when the boot is shut. All you could see is the strut bar with the Z logo. Quote
givememorepower Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 If this is a standard part I can't take it off my car, so sorry but it won't be for sale as that just wouldn't be fair. Quote
paddy0d Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Think the idea is you can't see through the small gap between the strut brase and the back of the boot, as a security thing so theives can't see what you have there.... Quote
