nixy Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I keep getting a bloody pop up saying internet explorer has stopped working - BUT it hasn't and it doesn't close down or interfere with anything. I'm using vista. Anyone know how i can stop it? Quote
Stew Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I'd try running the free checkers that were listed in here viewtopic.php?f=13&t=25399&hilit=sarnie+virus CC cleaner and Malwarebytes. Then see if the problem is real. I'm sure an actual geek will have better advice though! Quote

Run a scan or go back to a restore point: > Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore Select a date when this problem wasn't occuring (earlier this week) and restore it to back then (it deletes anything added to the PC since thsi date - including (hopefully) the virus) Quote
