Indyzed Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I got both of my vehicles clay bar'd and polished this weekend so I took some pixs since the weather was nice. First the beauty: Just a little wave to my friends across the pond! Now my Beast. This is my wife's daily driver. 2008 Honda Pilot. And a parting aerial shot Quote
martinmac Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Very nice bud and thanks for a reminder of what daylight looks like. Quote
Indyzed Posted October 19, 2009 Author Posted October 19, 2009 Very nice bud and thanks for a reminder of what daylight looks like. We've already had snow I officially declare "global warming" over Quote
IanS16 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Looks tidy Whats with the bonnet bra though? Dont know why but I thought it was a G35 at first Quote
Indyzed Posted October 19, 2009 Author Posted October 19, 2009 Looks tidy Whats with the bonnet bra though? Dont know why but I thought it was a G35 at first I drive 40 miles a day and it has helped keep my hood chip free. I don't keep it on when it's raining or snowing and I keep it clean and waxed underneath. I've used one on my last three cars and it makes a difference. Quote

marzman Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Yeh, the bra's are really common in the states, i've no idea why Id rather have the stonechips on my car than that Otherwise, lovely zed, it looks perfect. Quote
IanS Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Nice Zed - what did you climb to get the last photo...or are you the worlds tallest Zed owner?! Quote

Indyzed Posted October 19, 2009 Author Posted October 19, 2009 Nice Zed - what did you climb to get the last photo...or are you the worlds tallest Zed owner?! I used a 6' ladder and placed it at the end of my driveway. I was surprised at how well it turned out. Quote

I'll live with the snickering. I always sell my cars after 4/5 years and it's great to see the prospective owner go into shock when they see the nearly perfect front end. Quote
bronzee Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I always sell my cars after 4/5 years and it's great to see the prospective owner go into shock when they see the nearly perfect front end. Lol, I bet they inspect closely looking for signs of respray. Clever you. Cars look lovely and shiny. Quote

Lol, I bet they inspect closely looking for signs of respray. Clever you. Cars look lovely and shiny. Thank you! I was actually accused of doing just that with the last car I sold (Mazda 6). The girl picking it up actually said I had had it resprayed. I'm use to it. It's fun to watch a prospective buyer look for leverage to get me to drop the price Quote
rich5259 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 at least it's just a small bra, not the full coverage one's that a lot of people have over there wouldn't have helped me, my stone chip is higher up, on the front of the bulge on the 07 bonnet (that's the hood for Indyzed and other americans) Quote
350 giZ Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Your house is almost as impressive!! Good job! Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Nice zed, Honda, house, weather and ladder pic Quote

Indyzed Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 Nice zed, Honda, house, weather and ladder pic And the swimming pool Thank you all for the kind comments. We had just closed the pool earlier that week We had one of the coolest summers on record. Quote
Indyzed Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 Nice zed, Honda, house, weather and ladder pic I wasn't sure how well the Honda pixs would be received. I'm normally against SUV's but this one has been a wonderful vehicle. We just returned yesterday from a week long holiday in the Appalachian mountains. We averaged 25 miles per gallon in the mountains and 29 miles per gallon in the flatter parts of our trek! The Pilot is one of Honda's most reliable vehicles ever made and the lease deal we got was tremendous. We couldn't pass it up Quote
rich5259 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I was going to suggest that the Honda needs lowering, but didn't want to get flamed Quote
Indyzed Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 I was going to suggest that the Honda needs lowering, but didn't want to get flamed Honestly....I'd love to do that! Lowering the center of gravity is always a good idea. Wouldn't look bad either Quote
