andydfc Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Hi, I am not exactly fantastic with cars and I have a problem with my 54 plate 350z. Hopefully somebody can help. After driving from Dundee to Aberdeen, and coming down to the lower gears around town, I started losing acceleration, and the revs were going up but the speed wasn't. After also smelling the burning, I am taking it that my clutch is going. I did manage to make it to the Airpark and shoot offshore for 2 weeks, but now I am at a lose. Can anybody suggest where I can order the correct parts for this, and approx time for a change out? I found a clutch kit for £258.99 on japarts.co.uk, is this the way to go? Toon Chris Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Glad you did a recovery truck option, Big Phil (an old legend on here) once told me that once the clutch goes it takes less than 100 miles to trash the flywheel. Mind you, if you got a clutch from Alex, you should have bought a lightened flywheel from him too Quote
