IanS16 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 My Zed with stock arches My Zed with VS wide arches Blue (quick Photoshop) My Zed with Black/Carbon VS arches (quick photoshop) Is it possible? I've always quite liked the wide arches but not the rest of the kit - What do you think? Quote
Woody Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 If its possible....Do it!!! Black/carbon would look very mean in my opinion Quote
rtbiscuit Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 from what i remember, the wide arches are designed to blend into the VS bumpers and side skirts, i think you might have major fitment issues at those joining points. speak to Rik or CS go and visit them and see if you can hold them up for a trial fit. if it needs little work then go for it. especially in the black carbon style. Jay Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I quite like that actually bud I would keep the arches azure tho Quote
IanS16 Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 Well the Zed is going off the road for a couple of months while I get a new clutch, lightened flywheel, manifolds and a bumper respray so I thought I may as well do something special. I'll have a word with Rik, see what he can do Quote

yokomo Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 DO it ! think you should leave the arches blue though unless youve found a shop that can get the carbon to leave clean finsih to the body work without looking stuck on if you get my meaning. either way looking great(gives me ideas for my azure , which front lip is that ?) Quote

Beavis Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Remember though the Azure can be a PITA to match So get a good bodyshop if you intend on getting the archs sprayed blue. Quote

Yeah I know, I need to get the front bumper done anyway though, thats why I'm thinking of having this done at the same time so that at least the arches and bumper are the same Quote

Jak Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Carbon Wrap on the arches would look nice, assuming real carbon versions arnt available.... Quote
barx Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I would be easy to do for a competant bodyshop, but anywhere less than brilliant and it could completley ruin it. If your prepared to travel to london i can send you to a place you'll never regret going to Quote
M350ZB Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Looking awesome Ian, Do It, Do It, Do It !!!!!!!!!!! Quote
IanS16 Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 How much do spacers effect handling? Is it really that noticeable as I do like the odd track day And does the wide arch kit hang low or about the same height as the nismo skirts? Quote

The spacers didnt really effect it too much, but i dont know about track use bud ! As for the wide arch kit, it sits alot lower than the nismo skirts bud, thus depending on what wheels ? Quote

Darren-B Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Dont you need 60mm on the rears? I wouldnt want to track it with those on, think of the extra load on the hubs/wheel bearings Quote
