Beavis Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 True to form then, the ref played on until Utd won. 90 mins + 6 Same with Chelsea last week at Soke Quote
marzman Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 Whats your point? The bug clubs deserve the bonus of extra time! Quote
RobD7 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 6mins was spot on. They time wasted from the first minute. What a result what a game, what an atmosphere! Will be a few days before I get my voice back! Quote

martinmac Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Giggs has just scored so that 5-3 Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 MMmm Great game admittedly and great to see Owen back on top again.... he will always be class IMO Just always seems to go Uniteds way.... I would have liked to have seen Fergies reaction if City scored in the 96th minute though L -I -V -E -R -P -O -O- L Liverpool FC Can't beat a bit of footy banter Quote
Sarnie Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I'll personally shoot Owen if he scores at Anfield.................. Quote
martinmac Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Let him shoot himself, he is retrained now, he would miss and fall down injured holding his ankle. If he does play at Anfield we may have to get Risse back. Quote
JT1703 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I'll personally shoot Owen if he scores at Anfield.................. Please do ( and I'm a Utd fan !! ). Despite scoring a 96th minute winner against City he is still the most over-rated player ever to play the game and p1sh !! He would have to score 6 in a Champions League final against Liverpool for me to change my mind .......and even then I'd still struggle to !! Quote
Spaceman Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I dont think he is the most overated player ever thats a bit harsh imo. I think Peter Crouch is the most overated player ever along with Schvcenko (or however the hell you spell it) Owen was ruined at Liverpool by being overplayed Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Crouch aint that bad, as a manager you have got to know how to play him.... Redknapp can get the best out of him and his return at Liverpool wasnt bad he just hardly got a game... Agree with you about Schevchenko, rubbish at Chelsea.. A genius at Milan though... Its all about confidence with strikers... Ive just put Nugent in my fantasy football team.... He was cack at Portsmouth....2 goals !!!! Now he is at Burnley he will bang a few in... PS... Torres and Defoe are my other strikers... I needed a cheap 3rd striker tho Quote
RobD7 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Good to see Owen is still the man, great ball to Wellbeck Quote
JT1703 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Good to see Owen is still the man, great ball to Wellbeck It was probably a shot or he miscontrolled the initial pass !! ( as I said , I'll take an awful lot of convincing that he's a player ). Quote
