Sgt Wilson Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 That seems an excellent quote for the work. Hope it is a good job. By the way, like the avatar. Cheers Jim, will let folks know how it went, glad you like the avatar Quote
Sgt Wilson Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Further to my last post, I went to inspect the re-respray job this morning only to be confronted with a bonnet covered in missed bits and chips that weren't there before. Needless to say, no money changed hands and the manager has assured me that the job will be done again to my satisfaction. The kn0bheads either didn't do it properly or else they did and have been riding round town and added some stone chips, either way they ain't getting paid til it's right. To further compound my chagrin, the rear axle is clicking like a Flamenco dancer on acid, the CD skips when it's cold and I've found my first grey pube! Quote
Sgt Wilson Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Thanks for your sympathy Sarnie . I've just realised it's not grey at all, it is in fact blade silver from a touch up pen! Doesn't everyone do detailing work naked to cut down on static Quote
Pingu2 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 not at this time of year with my Z parked on the street! Quote
Sgt Wilson Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 not at this time of year with my Z parked on the street! Mine's on the street but my neighbours are very understanding! Quote
