350zPaul Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 absolute madness a 4G63 in a Daihatsu Charade GTti Sorry if this is a repost. Paul Quote
350zPaul Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 The one of it beating the skyline (R33?) is even scarier . apparantly the 4G63 engine at 202.6/litre has the highest specific output per litre of any production engine in the uk. Paul Quote
rtbiscuit Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 that is insanely fast, and extreme power, but for me i never really understand doing it, at the end of the day its still a charade, regardless of its engine pedigree. Quote
350zPaul Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 It would give you great satisfaction though, you must agree with that atleast Quote
rtbiscuit Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 i think the novelty of having the worlds fastest charade would wear off on me quiet quickly. yes you'd be able to out drag any car you fancy, but i wonder how it would handle on a track, i don't think it would be able to put down all that power, as there isn't enough weight. i get my kicks from going fast on twisties, as going fast in a straight line is easy. sorry just my opinion, i'd rather spend all that engine money on a better car Quote
tmJak Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I've heard of someone with a cinqcento with 2 R1 engines in the back. Car has a wheelie bar Sure there's a smartcar on youtube with a motobike engine too Quote
350zPaul Posted September 4, 2009 Author Posted September 4, 2009 Yup its the Smart Diablo. Busa engined citySmart. Thats fast aswell! There was a citySmart on Piston heads not long ago and that was R1 engined, Think the guy wanted >15k or something stupid for it. Paul Quote
Lexx Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 There's a busa engined mini kicking around too. Saw it at TOTB last year Quote
