jumping350 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 £185 i knew about ths before i went looking for car made my life a bit more difficult as the wish list is hard enough let alone findng one with cheap tax ...however march 29th 2006 could it get much closer haha Quote
ZedMeister Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 scrap road tax and just put tolls on the motor ways like they do in france. shouldn't need fuel tax as well but i could cope if it was there. i think in france it worked out to 10 cents a mile travelled or make it 10p i can;t remember which way i worked it. we covered 700 miles and payed about £70 in toll charges. i don't think its that bad. Having driven 6000 miles acros Europe this summer in the Zed I can wholeheartedly disagree!! Skint! Quote
G.I Ginge Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 On the plus side, you newer owners do get the 303bhp engine, unlike us lowly 286ers with older models. I happily take the power hit for 200 squid a year difference in my tax bill though! Quote

JetSet Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Cut off date is 23rd March 2006, cars registered on that date and after pay the full rate. Pete Quote
