B pillar ?

Yes well, i thought, being as its taken an age for M350ZB to reply to my PM about getting the stick on carbon vinyls and the ones for inside the zed side badge, i thought i'd make the b pillars myself. And being as where i work we supply miles and miles of carbon, i would make mould and lay up some proper real carbon pillars (2 /3 layers probably) and affix them.

Also watch out, coz my nissan burger badge is going to be done soon also...... ohhhhhhh.

Hope they turn out better than my attempt at carbon pillars

Well I do have assistance from one of the best carbon specialists in motorsport. So with a bit of luck they will be ok. Going to make a small lip and then hopefully (with it only being 2 layers) I can flex it just enough to clip around the orignals. The mock up one worked well so here's hoping. If not I'll just trim it back and bond it on the face of them.

The badge...... Now that's the hard bit. Revering the mold so the letters NISSAN don't stick out instead of imprinting.... I'm sure my assistant has a clever work around though......

Surely if you make a mold using your nissan badge then the nissan badge you create from that mold will be fine. ie. Letters wont stick out?

Can't you get Lola Composites to make some high quality front air dams and hot spoliers for the Zed? I'm sure there will be a market here, especially the Carbon Slut ;)

Hmmmmmm well now I've got the mold. The process will be easily repeatable. But I'm sure people will want to see how they turn out first!
