Couriers for wheels.

I know this has been asked before but i'm not one for paying attention

I have a set of wheels and tyres that have to be delivered from South Wales to Suffolk. Can anybody recommend a cheap courier. And what is the best way to package the wheels? Would i need to box them up, if so where could i get boxes that big? or could i just wrap them up securely. Thanks in advance.

Yes they need some sort of protection, packed in singles, card board over the rims and then heavy duty celophane should do....

Seen Interparcel recommended on here. www.personalshipper.com used to be the boys but the site appears to be down now. I've sent wheels in the past and just gone mad with the bubble wrap and cardboard so everything is covered, then wrap each one in a bin bag.

Thanks for that i'll give them a ring and see what they say Mark. I've dealt with interparcel and they are very reasonable, so i'll get a quote off them as well. Just need to find the weight of these wheels. I hope i don't break the scales

I used DHL. It cost me £50 to ship 4 wheels to Leiciester

Ebay normally has a number of traders advertising.

 

Think its normally around £35/£40 for 4 wheels inc tyres or £20 for 4 wheels without tyres

Ok just got it sorted with interparcel for 38 quid. Those standard wheels are heavy though nearly 100kgs for all 4 with tyres. At least its sorted now
