Excellent write up and brilliant pics. I'd love to go some time. How did you deal with car insurance? My insurance company (and my policy on my last car and I think many policies) specifically say I am not allowed to go on the Nurburgring or do any track racing which is all pretty standard and don't expect it to be covered. Just wondered how much insurance is to cover racing on this track per day in your own car?

I have never been, but looks great.

I notice a 928 next to the green Ruf, some of my fellow 928 owners have been.

If the Panamera is supposed to be based on a 4 door 928 dna (according to the official website) then I think Porsche have done a terrible job, the front is ok, but the rear end? :scare::yuck:

Great right u! Brings back the memories of when i was ther 2 months ago. Sadly i didnt drive but went in a friends track preped elise (and celica GT4).

Would highly recommend the pistenklause restaurant, just like everyone else on here i sampled the amazing steak cooked on a hot stone.

Personally i would always recommend traction control when on the track. After spinning in the elise at 40mph (slightly wet) it just shows how the levels of grip can vary soo much. luckely we didnt even go off the track but definatly a brown pants moment. Just thought that i mentioned we did a 8min 20 sec lap in the GT4 which personally i didnt think was too bad considering it w as our first time to the ring (and 3rd lap)

Definatly worth the trip, and the roads around the ring are just as amazing.

Highly recommended!
