The defender has enough body roll already to scare the bejesus out of me on the motorway I'm not convinced a power upgrade would improve matters

Welcome to the forum mate . Have a look at the Scotland meets section. I am organising a meet on the 31st, involving some nice twisty roads. Would be a great opportunity for you to see some of our cars and scope out wat mods you WILL want to do lol.

I want a defender! I worked at a garage that was one of the first with LPG and we got a lot of tuned of LPG Defenders in. One was at 400bhp or something.... it sounded good and went bloody quick!
