Martyn27uk Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Hello. Just switched from an old and much loved Honda NSX to a 2007 350z Roadster in azure blue. Nice. I have the owner's handbook for the car but no instructions for the stereo. Most of it is intuitive but I've got two questions ... (1) I think the AUDB on/off function is something to do with balancing the volume to the engine/road speed - am I right or wrong? (2) At least once the stereo display has shown the single word "ALARM". What was it trying to tell me? Everything seemed to be working fine! I'm really pleased with the car but the number of stone chips on the bonnet that it's picked up is amazing! The NSX's bonnet was lower ( so you'd think would have been an easier target ) but I've got more gravel rash on the Nissan in the last six weeks than I managed in the Honda in eight years! I'm on my second bottle of touch up paint already! Quote
Stew Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 of the NSX.... one of my favourite cars ever.... Gravel rash is a mega problem on Zeds. Unfortunately you have to live with it or fork out for painting... Quote
bronzee Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Welcome to the madhouse Martyn. Defo pics of the NSX, oh and the Zed too. We're not demanding, much. Quote
IanS16 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 You moved to a Zed from an NSX????? Never driven an NSX but I still love them from the Gran Turismo on the PS1 days! Quote
M13KYF Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 to the club It sounds like it may be a replacement headunit and hasn't been paired with the ecu but if its all working fine then I don't know what else it could be. Quote
