  1. 2012 UK stock 370z with OEM CD/Audio/SatNav When playing previously loaded CD files using Music Box two of the five playback mode options ( "Normal" and "Mix All" ) are greyed out and I can't figure out how to reset them. What am I missing?
  2. Mine aren’t heated, but I’m after a perfect replacement for my damaged part, Azure Blue ( only available for the Roadster AFAIK ) If at all possible, with connections for the mirror folding motor - 7 wires thru’ the connector.
  3. Hadn't thought of that! Maybe that will inform my search, thanks
  4. Hi, Thanks for having me on board. A few months ago some ******** karate chopped the driver's door mirror off my 07 plate 350z Roadster, causing it to break along a pretty well diagonal line under the mirror housing. I managed to get the mirror off and bodged a repair with Araldite but it's starting to fail and the mirror is working loose. I'm trying to track down a replacement on eBay and the usual "used part search" websites but I've had no luck. The Roadster has mirrors that fold in using electric motors ( there's a switch by the window switch ) and there are seven wires going through the snap-on connector. All the mirrors I've found so far only have five wires thru' the connector. Question: Do UK spec coupes have electric fold-in mirrors or are they manual? ( I'm guessing the two additional wires on my car's mirror are for the fold-in motor ) Assuming that I can live without the electric fold in option would a coupe mirror be compatible?
  5. Hi, Just changed the battery CR2016 in one of my key fobs. ( UK stock 350z ragtop, 07 plate ) Managed to rinse the settings from BOTH by not following the instructions in post #7 TO THE LETTER! 🴠BUT If you do manage to render both key fobs useless, don't panic! Things I had missed...🤔 Car MUST be unlocked either with a functioning key fob or by switching the ignition on to defeat the alarm via onboard transponder using the key fob you need to program. Then leave that key in the ignition. BOTH doors must be unlocked, either by blipping the unlock button twice or reaching over and unlocking the passenger side manually. Then do the ignition switch LOCK to ON and back trick six times in ten seconds - the ignition will be OFF at the end of the sequence. Leave the key in the ignition, the indicators WILL flash twice. If they don't you aren't in Register Mode. Take the key out, lock and unlock the car, set the alarm off, turn on the ignition, unlock the passenger door. Start again. Don't despair. After the indicators have flashed twice ( or you hear the relay click twice if it's daylight ) press AND HOLD the UNLOCK button on the keyfob, press and release the LOCK button three times THEN ( and ONLY then ) release the UNLOCK button. It doesn't always work first time! If you DON'T see/hear the indicators flash once, simply start again from press and hold, there's no need to go right back to square one. When you eventually DO see the single flash, you've programmed your key fob 😀 You have also UNPROGRAMMED any other keyfob you might have...👿 REMOVE the key you have just programmed from the ignition - DO NOT switch the ignition on or move the key from the O/LOCK position. Put your next key into the ignition, DO NOT turn the ignition on ( as that would restart the registration process and unregister the keyfob you've just registered! ) simply do the HOLD/PRESS X 3/RELEASE routine as often as you need to to see the single flash that confirms that your second keyfob has been accepted. THEN switch the ignition on with the last key you programmed. You WILL see two indicator flashes if you have succeeded. If you don't, or all the keys don't work when you try them, then it's back to the top of the page 😕 Took me about five goes to get the process right!
  6. Hello. Just switched from an old and much loved Honda NSX to a 2007 350z Roadster in azure blue. Nice. I have the owner's handbook for the car but no instructions for the stereo. Most of it is intuitive but I've got two questions ... (1) I think the AUDB on/off function is something to do with balancing the volume to the engine/road speed - am I right or wrong? (2) At least once the stereo display has shown the single word "ALARM". What was it trying to tell me? Everything seemed to be working fine! I'm really pleased with the car but the number of stone chips on the bonnet that it's picked up is amazing! The NSX's bonnet was lower ( so you'd think would have been an easier target ) but I've got more gravel rash on the Nissan in the last six weeks than I managed in the Honda in eight years! I'm on my second bottle of touch up paint already!
