You know what you're right! I thought I recognised it but couldnt pin it on what. Its the bit that comes out for the tow eye! Quote

Which also begs the question... ... what is it doing there? Quote

InsanezeD Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 Does this piece fit the standard bumper grille in the airdam? My zed is a nismo version, so the part has nowhere to fit on the nismo front bumper, so I dont have any use for it. Don't know what it was doing in my glove box though Quote
srobrien Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I think they put them in there from the factory, when i got my car it was virtually like new. In the glovebox was the unopened tow eye kit and locking nut along with the plastic cover. It must just get put in there as standard regardless if you have the nismo upgrade. R Quote

My Zed had one floating around on the passengers floor when I first got my Zed (brand spanking new 5 years ago), no idea what it was, had a nosey still couldn't find a spot where it looked like it belonged, haha, and of course the dealer had absolutely no idea what it was either.
