givememorepower Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I know you can get some Tein dampers for approx £130, but has anyone fitted a cheaper set and been pleased with these, as I don't really have to buy any, but it would be nice, so I'm not looking to break the bank over them! Also where from Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I do the Tein ones for £95.00 bud... Quote
Chris`I Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Mine were about £20 from Phil. They rusted to f00k and had to paint them with hammerite. You get what you pay for Quote

Going to the RR day with the MLR I was embarresed they were all rusty, but in their new stealthy black hammerite, no one knew Quote
srobrien Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I got mine from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-GAS-B ... 240%3A1318 They are pretty decent quality and you dont need to butcher your plastic surrounds to get them to fit. I sprayed mine chrome to match some engine bits..they look pretty good. R:teeth: Quote

Mmm yeah I suppose it is quite low but it was high enough for me to change out my plenum and TB without me splitting my head open so there's no real need for me to have it any higher. R Quote
sunset350z Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 It looks better lower anyway I'm forever under my bonnet and never had an issue with the height Quote
givememorepower Posted March 24, 2009 Author Posted March 24, 2009 Nice one, I saw those ones and ebay and that was what sparked my question. Looks like I might save up a little extra and get th edecent ones then if the height/rust is a prob. Cheers. Quote

Going to the RR day with the MLR I was embarresed they were all rusty, but in their new stealthy black hammerite, no one knew +3. There was a thread on the other side about covering the body with black heat shrink tubing which I've done with mine, and they look much better now. If only I'd done it when they were new. Haven't been able to get all the rust stains off the engine bay plastics yet though! Any ideas? Sorry don't mean to hijack the thread! Quote
sunset350z Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I've had mine on for nearly a year and no sign of rust yet These are good quality and a decent price Quote
