Been to Muir Woods to see the Rewoods over Golden Gate Bridge today. Weather is 20 deg C, sunny and dry. Off to Vegas tomorrow. steve_b Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Kev, Flew back from Maui via Vegas yesterday and it was cloud and WINDY. Still lot better than the UK on a Bank Hols. Go for a meal in the stratosphere, hotel a bit shabby but the revolving restaurant was great when I did it a few years ago. Also you can hire a 350z in Vegas....go for it. Steve. Chesterfield Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Absolutely love Vegas, I was there only a few months ago (third time). Get yourself to the Blue Man show (bluephoria) its fantastic. They have moved to the Venitian now. Failing that get to see 'O' at the Bellagio. That is something else! Oh, and 1c star wars slot machines can get adictive - but the $1 MicheloB beer at Barbary Coast Casino helps! Last time I logged on to the forum when in San Fran I got a load of abuse about having "nothing better to do" Don't leave until you've hired a care and driven down Highway 1 to Monterey and Carmel.
