law350 Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 my dad has just bought a 03 z'd. when he is going slow (ish) in third he has a light come up by the 8 on the rev counter saying slip. has only had it a few times but wanted to know what it is. i have never had this on my one so could not advise so thought i would throw it open so i can educate him. thanks in advance guys. rtbiscuit Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 as a reference if he is running 18 inch wheels like the rays on the GT version the tires should be 245/45/18 at the back and 225/45/18 at the front. not sure what tire sizes are for JDM 17 inch wheels. if your wheel setup is wrong then this could mess it up. if he is going slowish, there should be no reason for the light to come on. should only see it under hard acceleration and bad weather mainly on the twisties, especially if you power out of a corner to early. if the light is coming on in a straight line and your not revving hard, then something is interfereing with the setup and calibration of the TRC and ESP Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
