bronzee Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 As it's the last day of Summer up there tomorrow, damn cheeky Kiwi's, are you taking your Zed for a spin somewhere special??? Quote
martinmac Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Still waiting for the first day of summer , maybe next year Quote
Beavis Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 When do the clocks change????? Tonight Stew Quote
Stew Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Oh no! Working tomorrow so I'll have to be in early! That sucks. Quote
Maccaman Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Thanks Dave I hadn't realised. Luckily I have a clock that automatically changes. Quote
Cara Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Look on the bright side, an extra hour in bed! Quote
bronzee Posted October 25, 2008 Author Posted October 25, 2008 Thanks for the reminder. Aaw Beavis, you never know you might get an Indian Summer yet. You'll have to come down and visit Kiwiland then, to get rid of that SAD sydrome. Like we want reminding of that But then you're closer to all the gorgeous colours of Autumn, thinking of stunning shots with goldy colour leaves, it's rather a winner. Look on the bright side, an extra hour in bed! Can't miss with that. So is anyone going for a nice cruise today??? Quote
Stew Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 well the first clock change troubles happened to me..... I went to bed, alarm set for 5 as usual (no snoozes so I could be in early to split the hour difference, yes I am nice like that!) Changed the clock on my phone before I went to sleep. Woke up with the phone saying that the time had been automatically changed. So what the hell time is it????? Went searching and ended up in the kitchen with the unchanged clock saying 7:05 Oh well, it's now really 6:05 and I was planning to be in the office for this time. Never mind. My good intentions went out the window and I actually ended up coming in 30 mins later than usual! Quote
H5 Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 And to mark the whole occasion, it's hacking down with rain here..... Looks like a good time to start stripping the Zed in the garage.....!! Quote

If in doubt remember this - Spring Foward. Fall Back. Quote
Stew Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 I don't know. It confused the hell out of me at 5, 6 or 7 o clock this morning! Quote

Stew Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I'm a chemical blonde these days so it's to be expected I suppose! It was a disaster. My only mistake was being organised and changing the clock on my phone proactively. If I'd left it everything would have been fine! So moral of the story, be lazy and you'll be fine! Quote
bronzee Posted October 27, 2008 Author Posted October 27, 2008 Or not, change your clock at all, and you'll be up before you need to be. Lol, only when the clocks go back though. Oh, and being a chemical blonde still qualifies, as a blonde moment. Quote
