I used to use one in my MR2, but got proper harnesses for the VXR220. After experiencing just what a proper harness can do, I wouldn't go back to a CG Lock as there's simply not that much difference over a normal seatbelt. Plus (as lotuscc meantions) the sharp edges soon screw up your interior and seats when you take the belt off and it pings out of your hand.

How I never broke the glass in my MR2 I'll never know!

I had proper harnesses in my first two cars (no power but looked nice....) and they grip you so well. I don't think this would cut it with me.

Not used it but with the Zed leather seats you would be surprised how much you move around. May be worth a go if you can get it cheap as proper harness is going to cost £500-1000 for a zed.

I've used them for the last 3 years in my old car (C2) and found them to be fantastic. I don't think its so much a case of not being able to afford harnesses, they give you more advantages than that. I mean, you try getting out of harnesses in a hurry or changing settings on the sat nav lol. The CG lock does work great as it holds in place really well although I've never felt the need to put it in the Z as my arse seems planted in the seat. Maybe its just cause its getting bigger
