D12BHP Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Hi, Can anyone help? A recommended Piggy Back ECU or A Standalone ECU? Car is running rough after mapping numerous times. See mods below, I am running a DAZ Tech ECU Management Unit. Thanks Sonney Quote

M13KYF Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 May be worth speaking to Dan at Advance Motorsport http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13835 The biggest problem with piggy back ECU's is finding someone who knows how to program the properly. Also you need to seriously consider having new internals as you mentioned before the engine internals haven't been uprated. I hope this isn't partly due to it running rough Quote

I hope this isn't partly due to it running rough +1 - std internals wont last long at that power from what we've seen over the pond. Looks like you need to throw some serious money at it to keep the power output up and gain torque as you want. Quote
D12BHP Posted June 24, 2008 Author Posted June 24, 2008 Just updated my Signature: I have got Oil cooler and bigger oil pan - car sits below 90c and on hard accelartion over quater miles reaches 110c at most and cools very quickly. If so what internals? Quote
M13KYF Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 pistons and conrods for a start. Also some very helpful blog info from TDI, regarding engine rebuild and supercharging. It will be expensive. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=45 Quote
lotuscc Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Your within Vortech's bhp guide figure for running a 350Z without upgrading internals. But of course the supercharger puts extra pressure on the engine. Check your PMs. C Quote
