Zedrush Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Very nerve wrecking weekend for me, afters months and months preparing for the fight he done it again and came out triumphant. 25 seconds K.O they have only posted this picture up so far but more pics and Video footage to follow later today. The guy he was fighting was a TKD and Thaiboxing specialist, so we knew he would come out trying to knock my guys head of, so Brett did what he did best, leaned back from the kick and dived in with a flurry of head shots to knock the guy K.O whilst in air. Guy came round five minutes later and couldnt remember a thing. Best thing was this guy was cocky to say the least saying he was going to hit brett so hard it would knock his mum out, not good especially as Bretts mum was there. Guy also came out to a huge 250 strong following booing brett as he came out, well, guess he will think twice next time lol Bretts record now stands at: Thai Fights: 4 wins 0 losses Cage fights: 2 wins 0 losses Submission Wrestling: 2 wins 0 losses Quote

Andy Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Congratulations mate! Another one bites the dust! Quote
Zummertor Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Very, very satisfying ! Certainly a kicking combination he had, good prep and thinking on your side, well done to Brett, looks like a reach give away as well, and pic is only in mid action but a noticeable difference in defence style (hard to do when kicking but that makes you vulnerable to counters as he learnt). Well done to all ! Quote
RobD7 Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Good stuff - who's the guy you refer to? Are you a fan/related/coaching him??? Like to watch a bit of this on sky (by no means am I an expert though!) Quote

Like to watch a bit of this on sky (by no means am I an expert though!) Brett is the white guy I train him along with Kevin the other trainer and my Instructor. It should be on Bravo next week I think Quote
Chris`I Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Nice one matey. When I was training in TKD I always said it was open to someone just steaming in and walloping you. Thats why I cross training in BJJ with my housemate (an unofficial sharing of techniques) as it makes for a more balanced array of moves. How much ground work does Thai boxing involve? I'm guessing not a lot? In which case you should just take him to the ground an pummel him, which I'm guessing is what your man did Quote

A dangerous decision, but one that we learnt alot from, he has K.O power Quote
